Healthway hospital provides pharmacy services within its premises round the clock. We have an out patient service counter on the second floor in close proximity to the emergency room, the OPD area and the radiology. Besides this, it is also easily accessible to general public for dispensing drugs and medicines.
Right from rare drugs to surgical materials and more, our chemist stocks all kinds of medicines. To support this unit and to meet the in patient requirements in emergencies we have our bulk stores on the ground floor. This makes it easy to meet patients’ needs at all possible times. Stringent quality control measures ensures that medicines at our chemist shop are regularly checked, updated and replenished.
Medicines are dispensed only on doctors valid precription except for a few generic medicines which are sold over the counter.
The pharmacy at Healthway hospital is responsible for dispensing medications daily for an average of 250 patients.The department comprises of pharmacists as well as technical and support personnel who work together to assure that patients receive the right and highest quality of pharmaceutical care round the clock.
The pharmacy has its quality control processes that ensures the drugs are safe and effective. The stocking of drugs is managed efficiently to ensure there is no stock-out any time. Since we house most of the major drugs necessary in the medical treatment.
