Dr Sanat Bhatkar completed his MBBS from GMC in 2009 following which he pursued his MD Internal Medicine, from Government medical college Surat. In 2013 he enrolled himself for DM Neurology at Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research, Chandigarh. In 2016 he served as the Asst Professor Neurology GMC, Bambolim for 3 years. In 2019 he joined the SMART Neuro Clinic as Consultant Neurophysician. He was also at KEM Hospital Pune for 2 years as Stroke and Neurointervention post-doctoral fellow

- Successfully conducted the first pediatric neurointervention in the state of Goa at Healthway Hospital.
- Successfully performed extremely complex procedures like CCF coiling, Aneurysm coiling, Carotid and Intracranial Stenting , Stroke Thrombectomies for the first time in the state of Goa.
