Healthway provides quality diagnostic, therapeutic and a structured treatment plan for all the respiratory case. This also includes medical interventions wherever necessary as a part of an advanced care program. The department is dedicated to providing patient-focused management and team-based care for various pulmonary and respiratory diseases. Our Team of pulmonologists and our team of intensivists work cohesively to manage all kinds of complicated and critical cases in our well equipped, State of the Art ICU set up. Our pulmonologists are aided by able thoracic surgery backup  for surgical management of complicated empyemas and for decortication surgery and thoracoscopic pleurodesis

Our ICU has invasive, non invasive ventilators and BiPAP machines to provide respiratory support to all critical patients.

Various diagnostic modalities in the department include pulmonary function test, skin allergy test and bronchoscopy apart from the usual laboratory and radiological investigations. Our  PFT lab  is supported by well trained PFT technicians. Pulmonary function test not only help by diagnosing different respiratory diseases but also assess the functional status of patients. We also have video bronchoscopy facilities, polysomnography (Sleep Studies) and CPAP / BiPAP titration studies for patients.

We offer services of allergy testing and have allergy specialists who team up with the pulmologists to handle various allergy cases. In Addition we perform interventions like Seldinger/ Pigtail catheter insertion for chronic pleural effusions and intercostal tube drainage & pleurodesis. We conduct diagnostic bronchoscopic procedures as well as therapeutic bronchoscopy for ICU patients, diagnostic and therapeutic pleural tapping,  6 minute walk distance assessment, etc.

In an out-patient department we offer a detailed comprehensive patient assessment followed by essential diagnostic tests wherever necessary with appropriate treatment. For our in-patients, a multimodality support system aids in the overall patient improvement.
